2004 volkswagen GLI - Price: $8,200 in Honolulu, Hawaii

I just bought another car and I can't justify paying insurance and parking for 2, so I'm letting this go... I would really like to see this go to someone who appreciates VWs. This GLI was never raced, never abused, never smoked in, always babied. These GLIs are rare and I have kept it pretty much "stock" with the exception of a few tasteful modifications. Specs: It is a Black Magic Pearl xxxx Volkswagen Jetta GLI. It has an original 1.8 liter Turbo engine matched to a 6 speed manual. It is a quick engine that consistently gets 30 MPG combined. 90,000 original miles. All recommended maintenance has been performed and this engine is set to last for a very long time. The timing belt and water pump have been changed at 77,000 miles. The oil is always changed every 3,000 miles, where the car undergoes a full inspection each time. The tires and brake pads are less than 2 years old. I've also put on a new CV boot, fuse panel, alternator harness, & valve cover gasket. Everything is in great mechanical shape. The A/C is ice cold, all power features work like the windows, sun roof, locks, etc... The clutch is strong, there is no grinding, no "popping out," no "slippage," it shifts smooth and crisp through all 6 gears. Modifications: *FK coilover suspension--This is a very high quality suspension made in Germany and is height adjustable. *Neuspeed air intake system--Provides much improved air flow for slightly better performance and fuel economy. *Borla stainless steel cat-back exhaust--A quiet, low rumble, that is not obnoxiously loud or annoying. *Forge stainless steel diverter valve--Replaced because the plastic ones that come from the factory are known to fail. *Motor mounts. What makes this GLI special is that it came from the Dealership with special upgraded parts. These parts include: Genuine 18" BBS wheels, full body kit, full Recaro interior, perforated leather steering wheel and leather shift knob, brushed aluminum trim, red brake calipers, and Monsoon sound system. I have kept all of these parts original. The car is not perfect, and I'd like to be honest to save everyone time. The front spoiler has chips and scratches, but is not cracked at all. There are also minor scratches on the doors, trunk, and rear bumper. Finally, the interior lining on the rear pillars and the door panels are starting to come out, it is not sagging, but just starting to come loose.
