Mid-Pacific Institute is seeking a Systems Administrator and Advanced Information Technology Technician to supervise the Information Technology systems on campus, including purchasing of computer hardware and software, physically distributing and installing systems, configuring and maintaining advanced systems with enhancements and service updates. Determines whether IT objectives are being met throughout campus. The Systems Administrator and Advanced Information Technology Technician is characterized by expert competence in LAN administration which includes: network design, optimizing network performance and security in the installation of hardware and software systems. Has advanced knowledge in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer, IP telephone, and wireless hardware, software, and data/voice communications equipment; and provides technical assistance to users.
